looking for an analogue radio technologist
We are making a new project involving self-built radios and we’re looking for a technologist!

Are you a creative technology enthusiast with a special expertise in analogue radio? Do you know how to build your own crystal radio and battery powered set, from scratch and from a kit? Do you have technical knowledge and expertise in all aspects of amateur analogue radio? Are you patient, enthusiastic and interested in creative projects with young people? If so, we would love to hear from you.
UK-based artists Action Hero are looking for an expert in self-built analogue radio to work with us as a technical consultant for a new creative project we are developing for young people. We have built several radios ourselves (both crystal sets and battery powered) and are now looking for a technical consultant to help us develop a radio kit that can be built by young people. We would also like general advice on the technical aspects of our wider project, support with our technical experiments and input into the creative possibilities of the technology.
Fee: £250/day for 10 days work during 2023, with the possibility to extend.
